I'm in the midst of finishing a blog post on tempo. I haven't forgotten about the tab reading post for guitar (or bass, or uke).
Some posts require more concentrated periods of time. The tab reading post will probably take several hours of dedicated work, and I simply don't want to put that much into right now. It will get done, just not yet.
The tempo post should be done soon. I'll update here if I finish it today.
